Nick Griffith is a creator and a Charleston, WV native who grew up three houses down the street from Jennifer Garner.
Nick is a producer, writer and director who lived in LA for a decade and worked on mostly trashy reality TV shows but also one Best Picture Oscar winner. After a series of close calls and nearly making it in Hollywood he was inspired by a Variety writer's room panel to work on his writing packet.
Nick left LA to return to his home state of West Virginia to work on his writing packet. To combat a crippling case of stage fright, he started doing stand-up and improv which led to him becoming an original member the legendary but short lived improv troupe "The Might Schmucks" and a semi-pro one nighter comic and promoter. During the pandemic to fill a the creative void Nick taught himself animation and now creates animated sketches.
In 2021 Nick relocated with his wife back to Los Angeles area where he writes and does stand-up.
Nick’s act is goofy, somewhat absurd and light-hearted yet politely sardonic. Nick tells playful jokes about food, his odd tendencies as well as his complicated relationship with his home state of West Virginia and his love/hate relationship with his adopted city of Los Angeles.
As an actor, Nick has appeared in countless videos earning a best comedic actor nomination and as a voice actor his voice can be heard in countless more pieces. Nick helped achieve 8 Million internet laughs in a viral video produced by Chad Matt and Rob and appeared on screen with NCIS’s Pauley Perrette in NBC’s web-series “Fact Checkers Unit'' as well as the back of a kid’s head in the short lived Fox series “Sons Of Tucson'.
As a writer, Nick studied sketch writing at Second City, placed in screenwriting competitions, sold a feature length screenplay and had his pilot, “A 51” produced.
As a filmmaker Nick has made multiple award winning films despite making fun unique films that are more focused on entertaining people than winning festivals.
Over the past few years Nick's life experiences have crafted a unique vision and his creativity has matured and been distilled into creative and original ideas.
Nick's comedy credits include appearances at several midwestern and southern comedy clubs, festivals and theaters and he looks forward to writing or performing for you!
